Mission statement:
The mission
of this program is to promote high-quality child care and education to the
community of Immokalee
Florida and through quality child care and education help to improve the
quality of living for the children of Immokalee. The program will give parents
the peace of mind knowing that their children are involved in a safe, loving,
and caring educational environment and program.
Vision
statement:
The vision
for this program is to build a state of the art facility in the main town area
of Immokalee. The center will be easily
accessed for those without vehicles and needing to walk their children to the
center. The Facility will be large
enough to accommodate up to 85 early childhood aged children of the Immokalee Florida
community. The center will partner with
the community to promote the high-quality care and education of children. The center will provide the parents with
education and information for the proper care, guidance, and services to help
with giving their child the best start at life.
Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty through education, care,
services, and peace of mind.
Crystal's Education and Care
Would like to invite parent, family, and friends of our students to participate in our program!
Here are some of the many way you can participate:
PARENT PARTICIPATION
Your participation is eagerly welcomed in the programs. Your involvement can take many forms, and we hope that all parents will find meaningful ways to participate in their child’s experience. Some ways in which you may choose to participate include, but are not limited to:
· Read a book
· Tell a story
· Assist with a special art lesson in drawing, painting, sculpture
· Do some science or math experiments
· Show photos from a past trip
· Tell about your job, hobbies, etc.
· Cooking activities, holiday foods, ethnic recipes, healthy snacks
· Play an instrument, teach new songs
· Teach a dance or exercise program, yoga
· Share information about your culture/country, teach a language
· Talk about your favorite artists, musicians, bring examples of their work
· Gardening and planting
